Terms of Use

These Terms of Use set out the terms and conditions for use of the website, learning portals, mobile applications (iOS & Android), consultation and learning platforms including Graphy, Zoom live training sessions, student community forums, WhatsApp communication, e-books, e-learning courses, and any content, internships, or services offered on or through these platforms (collectively referred to as the “Platform”).

These Terms of Use apply to end users (referred to as “Students”, “Doctors”, “12th Pass Learners”, “Skin Therapists”, “Users”, “You”, “Your”). These Terms of Use, including the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and any other terms and conditions published on the Platform or communicated to you from time to time (collectively referred to as the “Agreement”), define the relationship and responsibilities between You and the Academy (as defined herein) in using the Platform. Your access to the Platform is subject to Your acceptance of this Agreement. Hence, please take Your time to read this Agreement carefully.

When we speak of “Academy” “Institute”, ‘we’, ‘us’, and ‘our’, we collectively mean Skin Confidence Academy, its Founder Dr. Jasdeep Kaur (Dermatologist & Cosmetologist), and Dr. Vikas Kathuria (Senior Neurosurgeon), being the providers of this Platform and the educational/clinical training content and services contained therein.

By accessing this Platform, enrolling in our aesthetic dermatology courses, applying for Flagship Internship Programs or accessing our resources, You are agreeing to be bound by the terms of this Agreement, all applicable Indian laws, and regulations. By using or visiting the Platform and services provided to You, You are expressly agreeing to the terms of the Agreement and any updates made from time to time.

If You disagree with any part of this Agreement, please do not use the Platform or register for any training programs.

Access and Registration

If You are an individual, You must be at least 18 (eighteen) years of age, or, if You are a 12th Pass student between 16 and 18 years, You must have express consent from a parent or legal guardian to enroll in career training programs.

To access online video lectures, live training sessions, quizzes, student forums, or hands-on clinical internships, You are required to provide complete personal, academic, and professional information (such as 12th Pass certificate, MBBS/AYUSH degree credentials for doctor courses), and make payment of applicable tuition/internship fees.

You represent that all information provided by You is true, accurate, and complete, and You agree to update such information whenever required.

For the purpose of this Agreement, “Content” shall include online video lectures, live interactive training sessions, zone-based clinical internship modules, quizzes, online assignments, e-books, downloadable resources, and all educational materials provided on the Platform.

Nature of Services (Aesthetic Dermatology Training & Internships)

Skin Confidence Academy is a specialized vocational educational and clinical skill-building academy in aesthetic dermatology, clinical cosmetology, laser technologies, and clinic management.

The Platform provides:

• Online Educational Courses: Level 1 to Level 5 self-paced and membership-based aesthetic dermatology courses, webinars, and quizzes.
• Flagship Clinical Internships: Hands-on clinical training programs.
• Hands-On Clinical Training: Live patient exposure, zone-based training (Face, Hair, Body), and machine operations (Q-Switch Laser, Soprano Ice Platinum, HydraFacial Elite, Cooltech, Viora, MNRF Vivace) conducted at our primary clinical training facility - Skin Confidence Brain & Spine Neuro Centre, DLF Phase IV, Gurugram.
• Certification & Career Support: Industry-recognized Certificates of Completion validated by Dr. Jasdeep Kaur, career counselling, and job placement assistance.

Important Clinical Disclaimer:
All training modules, internships, and educational materials are intended strictly for professional skill development. Participation in clinical internships does NOT authorize non-registered medical personnel to independently practice prescription medicine or perform invasive medical procedures outside their legally permitted statutory scope of practice (e.g., NMC guidelines for doctors vs. non-medical skin therapist limits).

License to Use

Upon successful enrollment and payment of fees, You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access online video lectures and learning resources for your personal educational and career development only.

You may NOT:

• Modify, copy, record, screen-share, or distribute online video lectures, webinars, or course Content
• Record live patient consultations, clinical training procedures, or demo sessions during hands-on training without explicit written permission
• Use Academy branding, curriculum, or proprietary training assets for commercial teaching or establishing competing courses
• Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the LMS, desktop portal, or iOS/Android learning mobile applications

This license shall terminate automatically if You violate any provision of these Terms.

Clinical Internship & Clinic Rules

For students participating in hands-on clinical internships at Skin Confidence Brain & Spine Neuro Centre, Gurugram:

• Sterile Environment & Safety: You must strictly follow clinic hygiene, safety, medical equipment handling, and sterile environment protocols prescribed by Dr. Jasdeep Kaur and clinic staff.
• Patient Privacy: Patient confidentiality is absolute. Recording, photographing, or sharing patient identities, clinical photos, or case files on personal social media without explicit clinical authorization is strictly prohibited.
• Equipment Care: Advanced aesthetic lasers and machines must be operated strictly under direct dermatologist or instructor supervision. Any intentional damage or negligent handling of clinic equipment may lead to disciplinary action and financial liability.

Code of Conduct

You agree to the following:

• Legitimate Usage: You will use the Platform and training facilities only for lawful educational purposes and career advancement.
• Professional Conduct: You will maintain professional discipline, respect faculty members (Dr. Jasdeep Kaur, Dr. Vikas Kathuria), clinic staff, fellow learners, and patients during live or offline sessions.
• No Harmful Content or Misrepresentation: You will not upload abusive, misleading, or fraudulent material on student discussion forums or misrepresent your training credentials to the public.
• No Unauthorized Access: You will not attempt to bypass platform security or share account login credentials with third parties.

If any violation is identified, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform and cancel internship enrollment without notice or refund.

Intellectual Property

All materials on the Platform - including video lectures, zone-based training frameworks, course curriculums, e-books, branding, certificates, and software interfaces are the exclusive intellectual property of Skin Confidence Academy and Dr. Jasdeep Kaur.

You do not acquire any ownership rights and may not reproduce, publish, or distribute such material without prior written permission.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM, COURSES, AND CLINICAL TRAINING ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted, error-free operation of mobile apps or third-party platforms (Zoom, Graphy)
• Absolute job placement or financial earnings, as career success depends on individual performance, skill mastery, and market demand
• Uniform learning speed or outcomes for every student

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Skin Confidence Academy, its Founders, or clinical staff be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of:

• Use or inability to use the learning platform or mobile apps
• Individual career decisions, employment choices, or clinical practices undertaken after course completion
• Disciplinary termination due to breach of clinic safety protocols

Use of services and application of learned skills is at Your own professional risk.

Indemnity and Release

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Skin Confidence Academy, its founders, instructors, and clinic staff from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of:

• Your misuse of the Platform or learning materials
• Violation of these Terms of Use or clinic safety guidelines during hands-on training
• Any negligence or unauthorized treatment procedure performed by You outside dermatologist supervision

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi, India.

Miscellaneous

• Alteration of Terms: We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the Platform or participation in courses implies acceptance of updated terms.
• Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of our rights.
• Severability: If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
• Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays or session cancellations caused by events beyond our control (e.g., government mandates, natural disasters, severe technical outages).
